From here the hot springs of Garam Chashma, the Kalash Valleys, Mastuj and the Shandor Pass are all accessible. Cut off as it is from the rest of the country by high mountains, Chitral has developed its own particular feel and charm.

Wander around Chitral Bazaar
Until the Lowari Tunnel was built in 2017, Chitral was closed off from the rest of the country for 6 months of the year as it is surrounded by high mountains. The sleepy town of is well worth a visit for a stroll through the bazaar.
